SJV was blessed to catch up with Judge John Sandy, appointed the 38th judge to the Iowa Court of Appeals in June 2024. “SJV helped flame the fire of ‘gift of self.’ Helping the sick, the abandoned, and the marginalized was always a calling. Over time, I came to discern that such could occur as a lawyer.”

SJV was blessed to catch up with Fr. Michael Johnson, JCL, ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul & Minneapolis in 2009. “My ministry as judicial vicar is a unique way to participate in the salvation of souls (which all my students should know is the supreme law of the Church) by and through the judicial process.”

SJV partnered with NoGreaterLove.Life to journey with seminarians who are ministering to others at campus, on the streets, and from the sidewalks of Planned Parenthood. We hope this series inspires and encourages your own adventure of being loved by and bringing others more deeply into the Heart of the Father.

SJV was blessed to catch up with Fr. Jonathan Meyer, ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis in 2003. This marks his tenth year as pastor of four parishes comprising seven churches in Dearborn County, Indiana. He maintains a presence on the internet with weekly homilies and other teachings and began ministering as a National Preacher for the Eucharistic Revival in 2022.

We were honored to catch up with three men whose time at SJV prepared them for the Lord’s call to live their fatherhood in the domestic church and lay ministry.

We were honored and overjoyed to host Relevant Radio’s Family Rosary Across America at our chapel on October 16.
