Join your fellow lay alumni brothers for a weekend silent retreat back at SJV! With Fr. Ryan Adorjan (2014 SJV graduate) preaching and other priests available for spiritual direction, we know our Eucharistic Lord will meet our lay alumni in powerful ways this Corpus Christi weekend.
Father Ryan M. Adorjan, KHS is a priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet-in-Illinois and currently serves as Parochial Vicar at the Church of the Visitation in Elmhurst, Illinois and teaches Scripture, Moral Theology, and Spiritual Theology for the School of Parish Leadership and Evangelization at Mundelein Seminary. Fr. Ryan studied English with an emphasis in writing and Secondary Education at North Central College before entering Saint John Vianney College Seminary at the University of St. Thomas. In 2018, Fr. Ryan completed seminary formation at the University of Saint Mary of the Lake – Mundelein Seminary, where he earned a Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology (STB) and a Masters degree in Divinity (M.Div) and was ordained to the priesthood on May 26, 2018 by Bishop R. Daniel Conlon. Fr. Ryan is a regular speaker in his home diocese and around the country, frequently sought after for parish missions and retreats.
- Retreat will begin with registration from 4:00-5:30 PM and an opening Holy Mass and welcome at 6:00 PM on Friday, June 20.
- Retreat will conclude by 1:00 PM after Holy Mass and lunch on Sunday, June 22.
- Dorm rooms do not have air conditioning, and attendees are encouraged to bring fans, pillow, and alarm clock.
