Archbishop Bernard Hebda of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis assigned Fr. Colin Jones to Saint John Vianney College Seminary as a formation advisor in June 2021.
“He is a vibrant priest and a gifted teacher who easily connects with seminarians and other students on campus,” rector Father Jonathan Kelly said of Jones.
Jones is an alumnus of SJV and completed a licentiate in Biblical Theology at the Angelicum in Rome. He was ordained in 2018 for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and had served as the associate pastor at Holy Name of Jesus in Medina since 2019.
Jones is a full-time formation advisor with additional responsibilities that include co-teaching the seminarian-only Catechism class and advising the new men in academic formation as SJV’s “intellectual formation lead.”
